Start with a Consultation
All of our treatments are tailored to meet the individual needs of you and your skin. Pricing and enhancements may vary based on what is best for you. A new patient consultation is required before all treatments. In some cases, treatment may be provided on the same day.
During a consultation, our staff will provide the following:

Meet Our Team
Dr. Joseph Protain graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB) is a private, non-profit university in Kansas City, Missouri.
Staci is a Registered Nurse with over 13 years in acute, bedside care. She joined Valley Vein & Med Spa as a certified aesthetic nurse injector in 2021. She obtained her Medical Aesthetic certifications from The National Laser Institute, Scottsdale, Arizona, and is certified in providing various laser treatments, Botox, dermal filler, sclerotherapy, microneedling, and PRP.

How does BOTOX work?
BOTOX is injected into the desired area of the skin where wrinkle reduction is desired. BOTOX binds to nerve endings in the muscle temporarily relaxing the specific contractions that cause wrinkles to form. Moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead lines, and other facial wrinkles are then noticeably reduced or eliminated temporarily, causing your skin to appear smoother and more refreshed.
Am I a good candidate for BOTOX?
Adults of all ages in generally good health with moderate to severe wrinkles are usually good candidates for BOTOX injections. Many men and women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s looking to regain a more youthful appearance get BOTOX, but this skin-smoothing treatment is also becoming more common among people in their 20s and 30s to prevent lines and wrinkles before they even can occur.
How do dermal fillers work?
Dermal fillers work by filling in the skin where lines and wrinkles have formed, effectively smoothing them out. They’re also great for contouring the features of the face.
Am I a good candidate for dermal fillers?
Those wishing to restore lost volume, diminish deeper lines and wrinkles, and contour their facial features may be great candidates for treatment with dermal fillers. While fillers are often a great way to achieve facial rejuvenation for people of varying ages and skin types, people experiencing more advanced signs of aging and skin laxity may not achieve optimal results with dermal filler. This can be determined upon initial consultation.

What is your Cancellation Policy?
Valley Vein & Med Spa adheres to a 24- hour cancellation policy. A credit card or cash deposit of 20% down is required to book a procedure. Please call us if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to show or cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the scheduled service or forfeiture of required deposit.
